Psalm 105:4-6

Psalm 105:4-6

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced, you his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.

Psalm 105:4-6 (NIV)

It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day struggles and forget about the miracles that God has performed in your life. But Psalm 105:4-6 reminds us to remember the miracles God has done for us and to look to the Lord for strength.

Seeking God’s Strength: A Reflection on Psalm 105:4-6

“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” This is your invitation: turn to God for strength, not just once, but constantly. Imagine lifting your eyes to Him, finding the energy to press on. “Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.” Your story holds wonders too—maybe a timely provision or a healed hurt. Pause and think: what miracle has God worked in your life? Reflecting on these fuels your faith for today’s challenges. “You his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.” God called Israel His own, and through Christ, you’re part of that legacy—chosen, loved, valued.

How can you remember God's miracles?

One way to remember God's miracles is to keep a journal. Write down the ways that God has provided for you, protected you, and answered your prayers. When you're feeling discouraged, you can look back on these entries and be reminded of God's faithfulness.
